For in interesting break in a humdrum breakfast try this version of egg toast.

French Toast Korean Style

One Slice bread cut in half lengthways

Two eggs beat with a little milk added for texture

One slice cheese cut in half

1 tablespoon of butter

Filling of your choice

            Bacon, ham, strawberry jam, chopped onion, ketchup, etc.

 

The object is to make a sandwich.

            The bread is has an omlette sitting top of it that has been folded to the size of the bread.

            The fillings are added on top

            The bread is folded over with the fillings in the middle.

 Prepare all ingredients in advance. Once cooking starts you won't have time to prepare anything.

Start out like you are making an omlette.

Warm small pan over medium to low heat. Melt butter in pan

Add egg mixture, put bread into eggs coating both sides. Leave 1/2 inch between slices. This space will act as a hinge later on.

When eggs are done enough to form a disk work spatula under the eggs and flip the egg and bread disk over.

Use spatula to gather one side at a time, the egg disk over hanging the bread and fold it up over the bread into a square the size and shape of the bread.

Add filling and use egg hinge to fold one slice of bread on top of the other. Brown both sides and serve.
